Half Moon Investigations by the bestselling author of Artemis Fowl is currently being made in to a new 13 part comedy drama of the same name for CBBC due to be shown on BBC One from January 2009. A huge fan of the detective novel genre, in Half Moon Investigations Colfer has created a hero to rival even the most hard-boiled of Private Investigators. It is witty, clever, suspenseful writing, with a nod to Raymond Chandler. Since its publication in 2006 budding detectives (and Eoin Colfer fans) have loved reading hero Fletcher Moon’s exciting adventures and can now enjoy his escapades on screen.
